What I'm doing
I am currently working at Herrschners as a full-time software developer.
I am passionate about developing my own software and creating websites in my free time. I look to become a
better programmer by learning everything I possibly can.
In the past year, I have helped the company I work for map out many complicated systems and implement features
end to end. Of the applications I have helped within the last year I have worked on an inventory application
that has helped my company save 54% labor costs YOY. I am extremely grateful to have meaningful relationships
with people that drive me to want to change their lives.

System Redesign
In Process
Assist in modeling discussions and point out flaws with my extensive knowledge of the company. Participate and develop requirement documents for the system to be built to. We're in the process of developing a website in MVC to use newly defined model and business logic.
Inventory System
Completed
Assisted in modernizing the inventory process from a paper process to an end to end digital one. Saving the company 54% labor costs YOY. Created workflows and database models from scratch and implemented it feature by feature.
Integration with BigCommerce
Completed
Developed integration to the BigCommerce API to a home-grown ERP system. Understand the company’s core order functionality in order to map from the big commerce RESTFUL API to the company’s ordering system. Create middle layer between domain and API endpoints to allow scalable design for future RESTFUL integrations. Includes updating tracking, order status, and importing order data on a scheduled system.
Integration with Braintree
Completed
Developed integration to the Braintree .Net SDK to a home-grown ERP system. Fully understand each component of the system to know how and where to plug in new architecture to support the Braintree processor. Develop into existing code base to safely support multiple payment providers depending on payment provider type when the order was placed.
Shipping Platform Integrations
Completed
Understand operations in order to support real-time print requests to our integration to our shipment platform. Develop code to integrate and call different shipping platforms and scale into the future, by allowing any number of shipping providers.
Personal Projects
Project Management System
Yet another project management tool that hopes to set expectations right in the first place and report on true project progress. Develop visualizations of data to keep a clear understanding of what is happening in the day to day of software development. Develop tools that can manage technical debt.

A project to discover more about the design process. Took 7 weeks to do the Adobe XD challenges by Howard Pinsky. Joined the Discord community to provide and receive feedback with community members. Learned about making prototypes and interactive designs to expedite the development process by getting feedback early in the process.
